Warrior Silat September Newsletter

Thanks to all of you, the Grand Opening was a successful event.  I was very happy to see the promotions and the exhibitions of talent.  It is exciting to see new faces each week and it is especially exciting for me to see the significant improvement from each of the students.  There is a lot going on so here is an update on some of it:

Student Spotlight

Each month we try to spotlight students that are performing well in class.  This month’s spotlight students are Amy Berner and Zayden Althouse.  Be sure to congratulate them and keep a look out for possible interviews on Facebook.

Thank you

First off, I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful turnout for our grand opening.  Of special note, I would like to thank the Aldredge family for the beautiful American Flag, Sara for fixing the blinds, Jeremy for working on chairs, and Andrew for assisting with the Youth and Family class.

Referral Program

A reminder that if you refer a person to the class and they sign up, you receive your  next month’s regular membership for free.  We appreciate that so many of you are bringing in friends and family to try out Warrior Silat.

Mat Chat topic

This month, our Mat Chat topic is “perseverance”.

I will see you at class.  Until then, Live Fierce and Be Safe.
